In addition to presenting nine series of Four Thought, I frequently pop-up elsewhere on Radio 4…

In 2021, I hosted an edition of The Media Show, interviewing live guests including Alex Mahon, Chief Executive of Channel 4, and Chris Curtis, Editor-in-Chief of Broadcast. Listen here, or watch the TV version here.

In 2020, I was the special guest on an episode of My Teenage Diary, reading extracts from my 1994 scribblings to host Rufus Hound and a live audience at the RSC. Listen here.

In 2019, I presented Please Leave a Message after the Tone, an hour-long ‘Archive on 4’ documentary exploring the role that voicemail has played in our lives, and asking what society might lose if GenZ abandon answerphones. Listen here.

In 2018, I presented a second series of The Male Room, a late-night talk show covering subjects such as inadequacy, infidelity and parenthood from a man’s perspective. The first series was in 2016, and you can listen to all episodes here.

In 2014, I co-hosted the two-part documentary 'Podcasting: The First Ten Years' with Helen Zaltzman. The show commemorated the tenth anniversary of the word 'podcast', with guests including Marc Maron, Roman Mars, and Richard Herring. Listen here.

I’ve also appeared as a guest on A Good Read; Quote, Unquote; Podcast Radio Hour; You And Yours; Front Row and What's So Funny?
